@festival.filmsantri is a film festival dedicated to exploring the intersections of cinema and the Islamic world. The festival was conceived as an effort to reflect on the diverse expressions of Islam and to serve as a window into the everyday lives of santri and pesantren communities through collaborative, experimental, and performative practices. The Santri Film Festival is held annually in conjunction with the celebration of Indonesia’s National Santri Day.
