About this Session
Sevda, an ambitious real estate developer, participates in the rapid gentrification of Istanbul. When her latest project targets the grounds of an old Ottoman cemetery, its old caretaker stands in the way of her plans, forcing her to confront the site’s buried memories, while her own family past resurfaces, becoming inseparable from the city’s evolution.
